Course's Modules

Module 1

Introduction classes on how to get started with the course and a brief comment on the pinstriping history.
Module 2

Preparing your materials. Learn how to: choose the perfect brush, to cut it and how to correctly load your brush with paint to stripe.
Module 3

Here's when you're going to learn the Most Important Exercises for being a good pinstriper. The basic lines that when you master you can create any design.
Module 4

A special class about how to clean your brush and preserve it
Module 5

Some Do's And Don'ts that you must pay attention to when pinstriping
Module 6

That's when you're going to learn how to do the two compositions. You'll understand when to apply the second color, how to practice symmetry and extra techniques.
Module 7

Course wrap up

All these modules are composed by 18 pre-recorded classes, with exercise files for you to download and practice.

Mazooma Mike

I grew up in the 60's and 70's where Hot Rods were everywhere. I would always go to Car Shows and I would see the guys Pinstriping. All the candy, flakes and all those kinds of paint jobs and I just couldn't get enough of it.
One thing I notice was older guys that've been striping for many years wouldn't take the time to help the young guys.

This is something that has been around for a long time. And if the older guys don't teach the younger ones, its gonna die off.
In the late 70’s through the mid 90's hardly anybody was pinstriping.
And then, in the middle of the 90’s it started to come back, because more guys were willing to help out and teach the younger guys what it was all about.
I had the same problem myself, because I didnt have anybody to answer my questions.
Only when I became friends with Pete HotDog Finlan who used to be the painter and striper for WestCoast Choppers things changed.

When they were in california I would always go watch him stripe at car shows. And would sit there for hours asking questions and watching him stripe. And one day he finally gave me a can of paint and said “go home, you've watched me long enough, now go practice”.

That’s what really kicked it off for me. Over the years he would always answer my questions and help me out. He became a really good friend and a mentor.
